So this is goodbye

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Archipel.Berlin will cease its activities as of 22 February.

This was not an easy decision. However, towards the end of 2025 and confirmed by the beginning of 2026, we have had to realize that Archipel was not going to be able to become a sustainable business. Thus, these difficult choices have been made to ensure that Albatross Bakery will be able to continue functioning sustainably in the future.

Most of your favourite goods, and of course our bread and pastries, will continue to be available at the Albatross Bakery on Graefestrasse 66.

We would also like to extend our deepest thanks to our partners, producers, and vendors for standing by us over the past five years. We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside so many talented and passionate people, and to have been surrounded by such thoughtful, carefully made products. It has truly been a privilege.

Even though Archipel is coming to an end, our commitment to quality, transparency, and conscious consumption remains.

We encourage you to take a moment to explore our list of vendors and to continue supporting them directly. They are at the heart of what Archipel stood for, and their work deserves to be seen and sustained.
