If you’re an Albatross Bakery fan, chances are you’ve already tasted King Kong Honey, either straight from the jar or in Albatross' famous Honey Hole. Jonas’ journey as a beekeeper began long ago, when his father would take him along on his bee rounds in France. There, between buzzing hives and six-legged companions, Jonas discovered both the craft and the joy of biting into fresh honeycombs.
In 2010, Jonas started working with German bees right here in the heart of Berlin. Of course, honey can sweeten almost anything, but when it comes to recipes, we believe there’s no better guide than the beekeeper himself..
OVERNIGHT CHIA PUDDING
Dans un grand bol, mélanger :
- 60g Chia Seeds
- 500ml Oat milk🔗 or cow milk or water
- 1 à 1,5 spoon of Honey🔗
- 1 c. à soupe d’huile de coco fondue
- Place in the fridge overnight.
- Stir every now and then during the first hour to avoid lumps.
HONEY TOASTED SEEDS TOPPING
Also a perfect hiking snack !
- ±6 spoons of seed mix 🔗 (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, linseed..)
- 1 to 2 spoons of honey
- Toast the seeds in a hot pan until it starts to pop.
- Once ready, mix the hot seeds in a bowl with the honey. Stir with a spoon until all the seeds are covered. Let it cool down for a few minutes before serving.
DRESSING
This is your moment, you can add anything you like, but we could only recommend adding :
- Sliced banana
- Fresh seasonal fruits
- Granola 🔗
- Greek Yogurt 🔗
- Peanut butter 🔗
