Milan Nestarec | Danger 380 Volts - 2022
Origin: Czech Republic - Moravia, Velkopavlovická Subregion
Grapes: Müller Thurgau, Neuburger, Muscat
Process: Organic farming, hand-harvested, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 90 days, bottled while still fermenting, disgorged in May and June 2022.
Flavor Profile: Elderflower and white berries notes. A dangerously drinkable concoction that marries the aromatic allure of Muscat with the structured bubbles of Müller Thurgau and Neuburger. Superbly aromatic, balanced by a natural effervescence and a hint of residual sugar.
About the Producer: Milan Nestarec is not your run-of-the-mill vintner. His wines, like Danger 380 volts, are crafted with the same meticulous care as his other cuvées. The 2021 vintage was a rollercoaster, with a slow start due to a cold spring and high disease pressure. But a miraculous turn of weather in mid-September led to an exceptional harvest, especially for the late varieties. The result? A wine that's not just a pet-nat but a testament to artisanship and precision.
