Rocket Wine
DETAILS
Origin: France - Languedoc
Grapes: 100% Grenache Noir
Process: The Grenache Noir undergoes whole bunch, cold carbonic maceration for 3 weeks. This is then blended with directly pressed Vermentino. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. It is bottled without fining or the addition of sulphites to preserve its freshness.
Flavor profile: This wine is light in color, almost resembling a rosé, but it carries more weight in the mouth. It offers a fresh and fruity profile, with notes of crunchy red fruits.
About the producer: Opi d'Aqui is a winery founded by Philippe Formentin in 2012. Philippe has a diverse winemaking background, having made wines in the United States, Russia, and India before starting Opi d’Aqui. He sources grapes from organic and biodynamic vineyards around Languedoc, France. His wines are known for their freshness and fruit-forward profiles.
