Chinotto is a soft drink, made with natural extract from bitter oranges (Citrus myrtifolia), and other natural flavours. An Italian dark soft drink, which looks a little like Cola, chinotto has a more bitter flavour, though it also has a particularly fresh aftertaste. This drink is made to the traditional Polara recipe, using the natural extract from an ancient oriental citrus, the Polara Chinotto Ancient Recipe releases a full-bodied, pleasingly sour tart flavour. Serve at any time of day, at any time during the meal, the chinotto of yesterday is back on the market as the beverage of gourmets, one of the most popular drinks for connoisseurs of Made in Sicily. Also great for aperitifs or as a base for cocktails, giving them a superior refreshing flavor as summer approaches. Its elegant glass bottle and rather old-fashioned label in practical 20 and 27.5 cl formats make it a unique vintage drink perfect for the most refined tables, as well as for wine bars and more elegant, traditional bars, not to mention the special flavors it derives from the traditional recipes.


During their trip to Sicily last spring, while waiting for a train in the sun, a couple of our team members purchased a bottle of what appeared to be a refreshing beverage.
After taking a first sip, they were pleasantly surprised to find that the drink was both refreshing and had a flavor profile reminiscent of a Negroni. They turned the bottle over three times in search of the alcohol volume, hoping they weren't accidentally consuming alcohol at 9:00 in the morning. However, to their relief, the drink was alcohol-free and was called Chinotto.

Upon returning from the trip, we were thrilled to learn that Puro could provide us with this intriguing concoction, and the reaction was the same from everyone who tried it: "Is there alcohol in this? It tastes like a Negroni/Americano/Spritz!"

5. Return Policy: If you receive a damaged item, you must notify us within one day of delivery. Due to the sensitive nature of our products, we cannot guarantee the storage conditions after delivery. Therefore, we offer a 1-day return policy for damaged items.

6. Verification of Certain Items: We understand that some items can only be assessed once opened, smelled, or tasted. This includes products like wine, spices, cheeses, and other select perishable items that require sensory evaluation. 7. Compensation for Damaged, Expired, or Missing Items: If we are responsible for a damaged, expired, or missing item, we will provide appropriate compensation options. These may include bringing a similar item for free from the next day onwards, issuing a refund, or providing a discount code for future orders. In case an item would not be consumable despite of not having reached the expiry date, or its container being damaged, please contact us within 24h (.5).

Understanding Our Wine Quality Process: We carefully select and taste each wine with Rocket Wine to ensure it meets our standards and matches the detailed descriptions on our webshop. However, we recognize that every palate is unique, and sometimes a wine may not align with your expectations.

If you suspect that your wine is corked or doesn't taste as it should, we're here to support you. We kindly ask that you bring the bottle to our, or Rocket Wine location. This allows us to taste the wine and accurately determine the issue, as this is the most effective method to assess these particular concerns.

We value your input and understand that taste can be subjective. While we strive to provide thorough information and taste profiles for each wine, personal preferences may vary. That's why we invite you to bring in any wine you feel is not up to standard. Please note that for a refund or exchange, the bottle should have more than 50cl remaining.
